PLEASE NOTE:
- Our content filter performs SSL packet inspection on all traffic flowing through it. Users utilizing their personal devices on the District60 staff wireless network should not have an expectation of privacy in anything they send or receive on the District’s network, per the District’s Acceptable Use Policy.
- These instructions are intended as a resource for those staff members who wish to use personal devices on theDistrict60 staff wireless network and are provided on an “as-is” basis.
- Due to the anticipated volume of personal machines and the wide variety of possible configurations, ITS cannot provide support for personal devices. Internet access and support is guaranteed for District provided devices only. For support of District provided devices, please enter a Help Desk Ticket.
- Users must abide by the WPS Acceptable Use Policy when using their personal devices on theDistrict60Â staff wireless network.
- Use of modified operating systems on theDistrict60Â staff wireless network, such as jailbroken or rooted mobile devices, is a security risk and is expressly forbidden.
Mobile Phone Devices
iPhone (iOS 14)
- Must use Safari browser.
- Tap the “cert_Forward-Trust” link above.
- Under “This website is trying to download a configuration profile…” tap Allow
- Go back to your main screen (Home)
- Tap settings > Profile Downloaded
- Tap Install
- Enter your passcode
- Tap Install then Done
- Tap General (Back arrow)
- Tap About
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Certificate Trust Settings
- Tap switch to turn green on “10.240.1.2” then Continue
Android (Version 11)
- Tap the “cert_Forward-Trust” link above.
- Go back to your main screen (Home)
- Tap Settings > Security & Lock Screen > Encryption & Credentials > Install Certificate > CA Certificate
- Tap Install Anyway
- Enter your passcode
- Tap cert_Forward-Trust.crt file
